  Really good and fresh. I had a shrimp quesadilla which was amazing. My husband had the burrito Gigante with chicken. We both loved our meals. My four year old ate most of her kids meal quesadilla with rice and beans. I asked her if she liked it and she gave me thumbs up.

  Always makes us feel they have known us forever. Always welcoming. The best Mexican food around. Our favorite. Need to figure out how to let people know they are there.

  Family-run, friendly staff. The menu has a wide variety of food with big portions. Yummy complimentary tortilla chips and homemade salsa. I ordered the salsa verde too for a couple bucks more...just the right amount of heat and flavor. We ordered beef tamales to share and ended up taking them home...they were a bit bigger than what I've had in Texas (home state) and oh-so-filling , especially after chips and my main meal, fish tacos with corn tortillas. I had no room for dessert, but wish I did. They offered flan, sopapillas, and fried ice cream.
  
  Soccer/futbol/Fußball Fans will love this place, too. The owner's wife, Birgit, greeted us and sat us so we could watch the Bundesliga match on the big screen.
  
  We went on a Saturday evening and there was a steady flow of diners, from couples and small families to bigger groups of 10 or more. There wasn't a wait to be seated either, even with nearly every table full. We'll definitely be back...it's worth the drive across North KC for great food!
